Melanie Perez brings over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership to her role at The Enrichery. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University, which supports her people-centered and growth-oriented approach to leadership. Melanie is deeply passionate about guiding students and families through their educational journeys with clarity, care, and consistency. Her favorite part of working with students and families is celebrating student wins and meaningful milestones alongside their support systems.
Melanie has spent over a decade leading teams of educators and building systems that support strong coaching, collaboration, and professional growth. In her current role as Area Director, she focuses on managing The Enrichery director team, ensuring each director feels supported, equipped, and confident in providing the highest level of care at their respective locations. She is committed to outstanding customer service and building authentic relationships with both families and staff. Melanie also serves on the Campus Improvement Team at Hunters Creek Elementary, where she contributes to ongoing school-wide development and collaboration. Her background in Organizational Leadership and Human Resources informs her thoughtful approach to communication, accountability, and team development.
Melanie is a parent to three teenagers, all of whom are neurodivergent or have learning differences, which has deeply shaped her empathy and perspective as a leader. She enjoys cross-stitching in her free time, often pairing it with audiobooks as a way to unwind. Melanie also has a bearded dragon named Goldie, despite once being afraid of reptiles. She loves supporting her daughter’s small crochet business, helping with organization and creative ideas behind the scenes.
