Get to Know Venus, Academic Coach
Venus brings a unique combination of science, history, and education experience to his role as an Academic Coach. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy and History and has worked with students in both formal and informal educational settings, from elementary school through college. Venus loves helping students discover how different subjects connect and believes that learning becomes more meaningful when students feel supported and understood. He enjoys tailoring his approach to each student’s needs and goals, helping them build confidence along the way.
Where Venus Makes an Impact
Venus has experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and subjects. As a teacher’s aide, he assisted elementary students with math and reading and collaborated with classroom teachers on lesson planning. He has also worked with multiple after-school tutoring programs, helping K–12 students with a variety of coursework. His academic background in both Astronomy and History has given him experience across the sciences and humanities, while his internships have allowed him to explore opportunities that combine both fields. At The Enrichery, Venus tutors K–12 students in all humanities subjects, math through Pre-Calculus, and all sciences, giving him the flexibility to support students across a broad range of academic needs.
Did You Know?
Venus is a creative at heart and enjoys beading, reading, and journaling in his free time. He also loves playing video games and going to the gym. At home, Venus has four cats named Sonic, Tiger, Knuckles, and Rocket—a lineup that hints at his love for fun and memorable names!

Venus’s favorite core value is Be Intentional because he believes every decision and interaction should have purpose. He makes an effort to be thoughtful about how he works with students, tailoring his approach to their individual needs and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. For Venus, being intentional means showing up wholeheartedly, putting genuine care into his work, and making sure that every interaction helps students move closer to where they want to be.
