Get to Know Kiaya, Academic Coach
Kiaya graduated from Cy-Falls High School in 2020 and is currently attending Western Governors University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Elementary Education with dual licensure. Since January 2025, she has worked as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional in CFISD, supporting students of all ages despite the grade-level title. She enjoys helping students explore new ideas and build curiosity across a wide range of subjects.
Where Kiaya Makes an Impact
Kiaya supports students across many subjects, with particular strengths in English, the natural sciences, and history. Her passion for literature, grammar, and discovery helps students engage with material and develop a genuine curiosity for learning. Drawing on her classroom experience, she plans ahead with each student’s progress in mind and keeps ready-made resources, like a binder of worksheets, on hand for whenever students need extra support.

Kiaya has a deep love of English in all its forms, from literature to grammar, and is endlessly curious about the natural sciences and history, especially the Old World. She’s always seeking out new knowledge and answers.
