Get to Know Caden, Academic Coach
Caden brings a passion for science, education, and building meaningful connections with students to his role as an Academic Coach. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston and is currently pursuing an alternative teacher certification through Region 4 Inspire Texas. Caden enjoys working with students because he loves helping them discover that learning can be both engaging and rewarding. His background in science and coaching has taught him the value of patience, encouragement, and meeting students where they are.
Where Caden Makes an Impact
Caden combines his scientific background with hands-on experience working with students and athletes. He previously worked as a Biologist II at the Downtown Aquarium in Houston, where he developed practical experience in biology and marine science. He has also coached both girls’ and boys’ volleyball for two seasons, giving him valuable experience motivating students, building teamwork, and helping young people develop confidence. As he works toward becoming a certified teacher, Caden is excited to continue growing as an educator and sharing his passion for STEM. He tutors STEM subjects for middle school students and high school students through the sophomore level, as well as all elementary-level subjects.
Did You Know?
When he’s not working with students, Caden loves playing volleyball and spending time with his fiancé. He also enjoys playing video games with his friends and finding ways to have fun and unwind outside of work. Whether he’s on the volleyball court or enjoying a game night, Caden loves activities that bring people together.
Favorite Core Value
Caden’s favorite core value is Create Raving Fans because he believes great coaches should genuinely become their students’ biggest supporters. He strives to celebrate his students, encourage their progress, and show them that he believes in their potential. Caden believes that when coaches become true “raving fans” of their students, students are more likely to feel connected, supported, and excited about their own growth—and that positive relationship can naturally inspire them to become raving fans in return.
