Dwayne Choate holds a BS in Environmental and Sustainable Resources from University of Louisiana in Lafayette and a MS in Educational Administration. He recently retired after many years of teaching students in special education and now enjoys supporting students through The Enrichery. Dwayne finds fulfillment in helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. He values contributing to a team that prioritizes individualized support and meaningful progress.
Dwayne brings extensive experience in special education across multiple subjects and grade levels, including math, science, English, and social studies. His certifications include Special Education EC-12, Generalist 4-8, English as a Second Language EC-12, and Social Studies 4-12. This broad expertise allows him to support students in a variety of academic areas with confidence and skill.
Dwayne served ten years in the Army, which shaped his commitment to discipline, leadership, and perseverance. He enjoys connecting with students and guiding them through test prep and college admissions. Outside of academics, his life experience gives him a unique perspective that students and families find inspiring.
