Before joining The Enrichery, Emily worked as a high school science teacher and found great fulfillment in delivering professional development for fellow educators. She later transitioned into an operations management role, where she focused on building systems, hiring teams, and training staff. At The Enrichery, she thrives in supporting and mentoring new directors as they build successful locations and strong teams. She is also passionate about community education through free workshops and enjoys guiding college admissions students from early list building through acceptance season.
Emily grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and moved to Houston after graduating from Texas A&M University. She loves spending time with her husband and their two poodles, Sasha and Navarre. In her free time, she enjoys napping, attending Pilates classes, running, and traveling back to DFW to visit family. She also once served as a foreperson on a jury trial, an experience she found especially fascinating.
Emily’s favorite Enrichery core value is Be Intentional. She returns to this value daily in how she approaches relationships with coaching staff, families, students, and community partners. Being intentional helps her stay grounded in purpose while making thoughtful decisions. It also reminds her that the actions taken today shape long-term impact and future success.
