Get to Know Hanna, Academic Coach

Hanna brings more than seven years of teaching and tutoring experience to her role as an Academic Coach. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Houston and has worked with students across a variety of learning environments and age groups. Hanna’s favorite part of working with students is helping them discover their academic strengths and grow more confident in themselves. She believes that with patience, positivity, and the right approach, every student can make meaningful progress.

Where Hanna Makes an Impact

Hanna has spent over seven years supporting students academically, beginning with two years as a Kumon instructor before transitioning into private tutoring for elementary and middle school students. She has also taught Montessori kindergarten, giving her experience working with young learners and adapting instruction to different developmental needs. Her psychology background further strengthens her ability to understand how students learn and build positive relationships with them. Hanna works with elementary and middle school students as well as students preparing for the ISEE, creating encouraging learning experiences tailored to each student’s needs.

Did You Know?

Hanna speaks Farsi and loves staying active, getting lost in a good book, and spending time in the kitchen baking. She also hopes to become a child psychologist one day, combining her passion for psychology with her love of helping young people grow and thrive.

Hanna’s favorite core value is Be Intentional because she believes effective teaching starts with understanding each student’s unique learning style. She intentionally adapts her approach to help students recognize and build on their individual strengths. By creating a patient, positive, and encouraging environment, Hanna hopes to strengthen not only her students’ academic skills but also their confidence in themselves and their ability to succeed.
