Get to Know Jacquelyn, Location Director at Towne Lake

Background

Jacquelyn began serving as the Location Director at The Enrichery’s Towne Lake location in July 2025 and brings a deep love for working with neurodiverse learners of all ages. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in School Psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Her academic journey also includes advanced doctoral study in business and organizational psychology, blending education with leadership and creativity. What she loves most is helping students discover what they do well and watching their confidence grow session by session.

Where Jacquelyn Makes an Impact

Jacquelyn has spent her career wearing many hats across education, nonprofit leadership, and student support. She previously served as a Neurodiversity Consultant and founded Houston Focus Academy, a nonprofit middle and high school created to support what she affectionately calls “quirky kids” still in existence in the Spring/Cypress area. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology in Katy ISD, partnering closely with families, teachers, and students. No matter the role, her focus has always been helping students feel understood, capable, and supported.

Did You Know?

Jacquelyn is also a Level 2 Master Certified Life Coach who enjoys helping people set goals and truly appreciate the journey toward reaching them. She has a passion for building programs from the ground up and making sure they are both meaningful and practical. She is married and lives in Katy with her high school aged son and her junior high daughter, and she is also very close with her step daughter and her two amazing grandchildren. Families often describe Jacquelyn as someone who brings clarity, encouragement, and a steady sense of calm to complex situations.

Jacquelyn’s favorite Enrichery core value is Create Raving Fans. She genuinely loves finding ways to surprise families, exceed expectations, and create moments that feel special and memorable. For her, this means going the extra step, noticing the small things, and making sure students and families feel truly cared for. She believes when people feel valued, great things naturally follow.
