Jessica holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She has extensive experience in education, serving as a multi-classroom leader, department chair, and English teacher in SBISD. Jessica loves helping students strengthen their reading and writing skills while fostering a genuine love of learning.
Jessica works with students in literature, history, and other humanities subjects. Her leadership experience allows her to guide students in analyzing texts, developing strong arguments, and improving writing skills. She focuses on helping students understand the bigger picture while mastering the details of each lesson.
Jessica has a twin sister and an 18-year-old chihuahua named Bartlebee. She is an avid reader who loves discussing books with others, bringing her enthusiasm for literature into her teaching.
Jessica’s favorite core value is Be Intentional. She believes that focused, purposeful effort leads to meaningful growth, whether in reading, writing, or personal development.
