Luis is currently pursuing an Associate of Science in Computer Science at Houston Community College and will be transferring to the University of Houston this fall to continue working toward his bachelor’s degree. He is a Memorial High School graduate with a strong interest in technology and problem-solving. Luis aspires to become a machine learning engineer and has already earned an Intro to Machine Learning Certificate from Kaggle.
Luis brings a customer-focused mindset to his coaching, shaped by his experience as an Assistant Manager at Dominos Pizza where he developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. He supports students in building foundational skills and approaching challenges with confidence. His background in computer science allows him to connect academic concepts to real-world technology applications.
Luis’s favorite ice cream flavor is pistachio. He loves reading and trivia, and enjoys playing chess and solving different kinds of puzzle cubes. His curiosity and love for problem-solving show up in everything he does.
Luis’s favorite core value is Create Raving Fans. He believes that strong social skills and charismatic traits are essential for building relationships. Luis also believes that intentionally going beyond for other people spreads positivity.
