Get to Know Nataly, Academic Coach

Nataly is an Academic Coach with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Miami University, where she also completed pre-med coursework and minors in Medical Humanities and Spanish. With a passion for science, healthcare, and working with people from diverse backgrounds, she brings an encouraging and thoughtful approach to helping students reach their goals. Her academic accomplishments include completing 12 AP courses in high school, earning the AP Scholar Award, and receiving a Cultural Competence Certificate from Miami University.

Where Nataly Makes an Impact

Nataly has been tutoring on and off since 2021, beginning with Algebra and Science and expanding her experience across a variety of subjects and grade levels. Her background also includes research in a biochemistry lab, a freshman research project presented at the Undergraduate Research Forum, and a year volunteering in the OB/GYN department of her college town’s local hospital. As an LSAMP Scholar, she also worked with Hispanic and Latino communities as an interpreter and medical document translator through ProScan Pink Ribbon Centers in Hamilton, Ohio. These experiences have strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, connect with students from different backgrounds, and approach learning with both curiosity and compassion. Nataly tutors students of all grade levels, supporting all subjects at the elementary and middle school levels, as well as Foundational Math through Algebra I, Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish.

Did You Know?

Nataly loves traveling and discovering new cultures and has visited more than 14 countries over the past seven years! She is also an avid baker who makes the birthday cakes for her family. When she’s not traveling, you can usually find her outdoors—hiking, camping, or looking for her next adventure. She says she can rarely resist an invitation to explore somewhere new!

Favorite Core Value

Nataly’s favorite core value is Be Intentional. She believes that doing things with genuine care and a clear purpose makes a meaningful difference, and she tries to approach every part of life with that mindset. As an Academic Coach, being intentional means recognizing that learning is not one-size-fits-all and taking the time to truly listen to each student. Nataly wants to understand their individual needs, set meaningful goals together, and help them feel seen, supported, and confident throughout their learning journey.
