Get to Know Rita, Academic Coach
Rita earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University. A Cypress Woods High School graduate, she excelled academically as an honor roll student and stayed actively involved in clubs throughout both high school and college. Glorita loves working with students because she believes every child can succeed when they feel supported, encouraged, and understood. Her favorite part of coaching is helping students discover new ways to learn while building the confidence to reach goals they once thought were out of reach.
Where Rita Makes an Impact
Glorita has years of experience tutoring students from kindergarten through high school and has taught Sunday school since she was 16, working with children and teens ranging from ages 3 to 19. She previously worked as a Physical Therapy Technician with Texas Children’s Hospital, where she learned how to make hard work engaging and enjoyable for young learners. While attending Texas A&M University, she also served as a Student Assistant for the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Outreach, developing strong organizational, communication, and technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Canva. At The Enrichery, Glorita teaches students across all grade levels in every core subject and also provides test preparation, always adapting her approach to meet each student where they are while encouraging them to grow beyond their own expectations.

Glorita is originally from Egypt and speaks Arabic, giving her the opportunity to connect with students and families from diverse backgrounds. She loves baking new recipes, crocheting, and exploring creative arts and crafts because she believes hands-on learning helps ideas stick. She also enjoys trying new cuisines, reading dystopian novels, and meeting new people whenever she gets the chance. Her warm personality and creative mindset make every learning experience engaging and fun.

Glorita’s favorite core value is Create Raving Fans because she believes learning should be an experience that students genuinely look forward to. She strives to make every session engaging, creative, and personalized so students become excited about their own progress. Glorita believes that when coaches are enthusiastic about their students’ success, students become enthusiastic about learning in return. For her, creating raving fans starts with building meaningful relationships, thinking outside the box, and making every student feel seen, supported, and capable.
