Rory is pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics and minors in Data Science and Data Analytics from the University of Houston. She is an artist and loves building things (legos, furniture). She loves how curious students get! She loves asking and answering questions!
Rory works with students across all grade levels and has a strong focus on STEM subjects. Her experience includes tutoring grades 3 through 12 in math and test prep, assisting in university chemistry labs, and interning with NASA on software engineering projects. She is familiar with multiple coding languages and uses that knowledge to explain complex ideas clearly. Rory helps students build confidence while developing strong problem-solving skills.
Rory loves music and has created over 50 playlists and counting. She is also deeply interested in history, the arts, and humanities, and has recently gotten back into reading. Rory has one very old cat named Poof, and her favorite color is green.
Rory’s favorite core value is Think Big. She believes creativity and ambitious thinking are essential to solving complex problems. By encouraging students to set bold goals and explore new ideas, Rory helps them see their potential as far greater than they first imagined.
