Tye earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Houston Christian University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the University of Houston. Throughout college, Tye embraced leadership opportunities by serving in the Honors College, Student Foundation, and multiple student organizations, all while developing a passion for helping others grow. Working with students is especially meaningful because every child learns differently, and Tye enjoys finding creative ways to help each one build confidence and succeed. Creating a positive, encouraging environment where students feel supported is at the heart of Tye’s approach.
Tye brings a diverse background in education, behavioral support, research, and community service to The Enrichery. As a Registered Behavior Technician, Tye works closely with children on the autism spectrum, helping them develop communication, independence, and everyday life skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families. Additional experience includes youth ministry, advocacy and civic engagement, psychological research, and leadership roles focused on academic success, mentorship, and student support. Tye teaches elementary and middle school students, drawing on strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping young learners reach their potential.
Tye has led research exploring empathy and its role in building stronger relationships, an interest that continues to shape interactions with students and families today. Outside of work, Tye enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer service at the Christian Community Service Center, helping organize food distributions for families in need. Tye is also passionate about leadership development and loves finding opportunities to encourage, mentor, and empower others.
Tye’s favorite core value is Win as One because meaningful success is built through collaboration and mutual support. Whether working alongside students, families, or fellow team members, Tye believes everyone grows stronger when they work toward a shared goal. By building trusting relationships and celebrating progress together, Tye strives to help every student feel capable, encouraged, and set up for success.
