Zoe earned her BS in Music Education from Elon University and holds a teaching license in the state of North Carolina. She has experience working with students from elementary through high school. Zoe enjoys helping students build confidence and find joy in learning, especially when they tackle new skills.
Zoe works with students in AP-level U.S. History, World History, and Geography. Her hands-on classroom experience allows her to guide students through complex concepts while keeping lessons engaging. She emphasizes understanding and application, helping students connect historical events to broader contexts.
Zoe has been playing the flute for 14 years and brings the same dedication to her coaching. She loves movies like Spirited Away and has a top bucket list goal of seeing the Northern Lights.
Zoe’s favorite core value is Be Intentional. She believes in giving specific praise and actionable feedback to help students recognize concrete achievements.
