Evelyn earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Dimension of Organization with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. She has a long history of working with children, from volunteering as a summer counselor in high school to tutoring at Kumon for several years. Evelyn enjoys helping students build confidence, discover strategies that make learning enjoyable, and see progress firsthand.
Evelyn works with elementary and middle school students, and also focuses on math topics like Algebra 1 and Geometry. Her experience in tutoring allows her to break concepts into manageable steps, helping students develop both skill and confidence.
Evelyn is an avid gardener with a growing collection of succulents and cacti. She also loves collecting miniature animal figurines, especially roosters, and has an impressive Lego collection.
Evelyn’s favorite core value is Win as One. She believes collaboration and mutual support create an environment where everyone can succeed.
