Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston Victoria. He brings a strong academic foundation and a passion for problem solving into his work with students, helping them break down complex concepts and build confidence as they master challenging material.
Kevin has several years of experience as a professional tutor and four years as a public school teacher. He teaches mathematics (Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, Geometry, Statistics, AP Statistics), sciences (Biology, Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Physics, AP Physics), test preparation, elementary and middle school subjects, and history and geography. Kevin holds Texas certifications including PPR, 7–12 Mathematics, 6–12 Computer Science, and 7–12 Physics and Mathematics.
Kevin is a big fan of tabletop roleplaying games and has even hosted a TTRPG podcast. His love of storytelling and creativity helps him bring a thoughtful, engaging perspective to the way he communicates ideas with students.
Kevin’s favorite core value is Roll Up Your Sleeves and Own It. He believes real results come from putting in the effort and staying committed, even when the work gets difficult.
