Youssuf brings a strong tutoring background, including his role as an Embedded Tutor for Calculus I at the University of Houston, where he supported dozens of students through weekly office hours. He also works as a Math Instructor at Mathnasium, providing individualized instruction to K–12 students and college learners. In addition to tutoring, he has customer-facing experience and leadership roles that strengthen his communication and teamwork skills. Youssuf primarily supports students in math, including calculus, and works comfortably across elementary, middle, high school, and college levels.
Youssuf is originally from Egypt and is fluent in both Arabic and English. Outside of academics, he enjoys reading books focused on purification of the soul and personal reflection. He is also a fan of colognes, watches, and shoes, and appreciates the details that reflect individual style.
Youssuf’s favorite core value is Roll Up Your Sleeves (and Own It). He strongly believes that consistent effort and resilience can completely change outcomes, even when the odds feel stacked against you. His own experiences have shown him that hard work has the power to flip the tables, and he brings that mindset into every session with his students.
