Get to Know Daniela, Academic Coach

Daniela is currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Anthropology and plans to transfer to the University of Houston to continue her studies. She brings a thoughtful, student-centered approach to her work and values meeting learners where they are.

Where Daniela Makes an Impact

Daniela has worked in education since 2020, beginning as a preschool teacher and now serving as a paraeducator at The Parish School. She can teach elementary-level subjects as well as US history, world history, literature, government, economics, Spanish, and other humanities courses. She was recognized as Paraeducator of the Year for 2024-2025.

Did You Know?

Daniela loves the color green and brings that same calm, steady energy into her sessions. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and also knows conversational American Sign Language. At home, she is kept company by her two cats, Plum and Mushroom.
