Though a Houston native, Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Genetics, Breeding, and Biotechnology from Purdue University. Her favorite part of working with students is getting to foster a, hopefully lifelong, love for learning.
While working on her undergraduate degree, Kathryn served as a Teaching Assistant for a genetics course. She also served as a Peer Mentor through her school’s Disability Resource Center. She provides support for students in primarily science and math up to the high school level, as well as with ACT and SAT test prep.
Kathryn has recently learned to knit, and her favorite thing to make is socks!
Kathryn’s favorite Enrichery core value is Roll Up Your Sleeves because sometimes a little extra time and focus is just what a problem needs!
