Get to Know Holly, Academic Coach
Holly holds an Associate of Arts in Business at Houston Community College. She graduated magna cum laude from Clements High School with a 4.0 GPA. She loves helping students discover that learning can be both rewarding and enjoyable, especially when lessons are tailored to their individual needs. Holly’s favorite part of working with students is seeing their confidence grow as they master concepts they once found intimidating. She believes that patience, encouragement, and consistency are the foundation of meaningful academic success.
Where Holly Makes an Impact
Holly brings extensive experience working with students of all ages through both private tutoring and classroom settings. She has tutored students from first through eleventh grade, including those with ADHD and learning disabilities, and has helped students improve their academic performance through personalized instruction. Holly also worked as an Assistant Teacher at Kids R Kids Learning Academy and most recently served as a Personal Attendant, creating engaging educational activities and supporting an adult with autism spectrum disorder and an intellectual disability. She is CPR and Food Handler certified and teaches Algebra 1, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB, Biology, AP Biology, Literature, AP Literature, U.S. History, AP U.S. History, Economics, Government, as well as all elementary and middle school core subjects.
Did You Know?
Outside of teaching, Holly enjoys learning new languages and is currently studying Korean and Mandarin. She also loves creative writing, digital design, and finding new ways to express her creativity through different projects. During high school, she was a founding member of Unified Olympics Art, where she partnered one-on-one with students with special needs to create artwork for a gallery, an experience that strengthened her passion for inclusive education.

Holly’s favorite core value is Be Intentional because she believes meaningful growth happens when every interaction has purpose. Whether she is preparing lessons, supporting a student through a challenge, or celebrating a success, she strives to approach each moment with care and thoughtfulness. Being intentional allows Holly to build strong relationships and create learning experiences that leave a lasting impact.
